We’ve seen a lot of monitor deals lately, but the new Alienware AW2725Q showing up with a discount wasn’t wholly expected. This is a 4K 240Hz monitor released in early March and first listed on Amazon on March 14 at $900. But three weeks later it’s now not that price.
In fact, the AW2725Q, which has had a lot of positive press since arriving, is now $750 on Amazon. That’s a straight $150 or 17% discount on a newly arrived gaming monitor with some impressive credentials. For a 27-inch 4K 240Hz monitor, that’s not too shabby, and it presumably counters some questions about initial pricing.

Why we like the Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED AW2725Q
The reviews are positive for the AW2725Q, but without having tested it ourselves, we’re keen on the 240Hz refresh rate available and the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard, which should produce excellent contrast for greater immersion. This is a well kitted out monitor though, and here are the key specs:
